The 28-year-old, who scored the equaliser for ESS in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup final last weekend, believes that the draw in South Africa was crucial for his side, and that they need to remain focused on the task at hand at home.
Speaking after the 1-1 draw, the 1. FC Köln defender said, "We think that this is another game on it's own. This is a final, we will give all our best and with God's grace we hope to win this cup. We do believe that Pirates can be very dangerous in the second leg.
"Orlando Pirates' players move a lot, they're very fast and made us work. It's normal that we were tired after the first leg considering their performance, but it was most essential that we came out with a result.
"We beat Zamalek 5-1 in Sousse but lost in Egypt, whether we play home or away we don't have any problems. We just need to stay concentrated and play as a team.
"Sousse is our stronghold, and that is where we have our supporters. They push us and strengthen us, but that said we have to stay concentrated against Pirates. We must win this game and I believe that we can do it."
ESS have an impeccable record at home, winning all seven of their CCC games this season, and haven't lost a home game in all competitions since November of last year.

Pirates, however, have managed to score in all of their CCC matches this year and are the highest-scoring team in the competition.
