Mamelodi Sundowns duo Denis Onyango and Percy Tau were included the 2017 CAF Champions League Team of the Year.

Tau featured in 10 games for the defending CAF Champions League champions although he only registered one assist in the campaign.
Onyango, meanwhile, played six matches in the campaign and recorded three clean sheets.
Sundowns failed to defend their title after losing to Wydad Casablanca in the quarter-finals.
