Wydad Casablanca clinched their second CAF Champions League title after beating Al Ahly 2-1 on aggregate in the final.
The sides headed into match on the back of a 1-1 draw in the first leg last weekend.
Al Ahly created the first opportunity after 12 minutes as Walid Azaro fired wide of the upright from close range.
Wydad outfit nearly took the lead after 30 minutes as Abdeladim Khadrouf struck the crossbar with goalkeeper Sherif Ekramy well beaten.
Four minutes later, Moamen Zakaria should have put Al Ahly ahead but he failed to beat Wydad goalkeeper Zouhair Laaroubi in a one-on-one situation.
That proved to be the final chance of the half as the sides went into break scoreless.
After a quiet start to the second stanza, Wydad eventually took the lead on 70 minutes a Achraf Bencharki's deflected cross from the right flank was headed home by Walid El-Karti.
Al Ahly pushed for an equaliser and they were nearly rewarded in the 73rd minute but Rami Rabia failed to direct his close-range header on target.
Wydad had a chance to double their lead in the 80th minute but Al Ahly's Ekramy produced a good save to keep the score at 1-0.
However, the Egyptian giants failed to bypass the Wydad defence in the closing stages as the home side held on to claim the title.
