Cristiano Ronaldo's poor record with free-kicks at Juventus could be down to 'bad luck', according to one of his teammates.
The Portuguese established himself as a dead-ball specialist during his time with Manchester United before going on to score them regularly at Real Madrid.
However, that goals have dried up from free-kicks since his arrival in Turin as the Portuguese has only scored once from 72 attempts in the past three years.
Juventus third-choice shot-stopper Carlo Pinsoglio is not sure why the five-time Ballon d'Or is struggling during games.
"Cristiano always takes free kicks in training and he scores them all the time," he told Tuttosport.
"I don't know why he can't do it in games, maybe it's just bad luck.
"I have a beautiful friendship with him, my team-mates make fun of me saying that I'll go to the Euros with the Portugal staff and Cristiano.
"Ronaldo is a simple guy, not a star, he's quiet, he likes to laugh and joke."
