2. Neuer and Arsenal midfielder, Mesut Ozil were childhood friends and attended the same school.
3. He received his first football when he was just two-years-old and played his first game at the age of four.
4. He performed the voice over for the German version of the Disney movie, "Monsters University".
5. He founded a charity organisation called the Manuel Neuer Children's Foundation.
Manuel Neuer joined Bayern Munich from Schalke for €22 million in July 2011.
