A former Orlando Pirates cup-winning coach has become the latest candidate to be linked to AmaZulu for the club's vacant position.
As reported in edition 1328 of Soccer Laduma, Dutch mentor Alfons Groenendijk is among the coaches to have been offered to AmaZulu as the Durban-based club is expected to decide on the new man to lead the team for the 2023/24 season.

News reaching the Siya crew is that Groenendijk's countryman Ruud Krol has also been offered to Usuthu, with the club said to be inundated with enquiries for the sought-after role.
AmaZulu have decided against retaining Ayanda Dlamini, who has been the caretaker coach since taking over from Romain Folz towards the end of the season, with the ambitious club expected to assemble a whole newlook technical team for the upcoming campaign.
"Ruud Krol has been offered to AmaZulu for the vacant coaching position. There is nothing concrete as yet other than to say that the experienced coach has been offered to club chairman (Sandile Zungu) and Ruud is keen to return to South Africa," said the source.

"The coach has been following the DStv Premiership games and he even watched the (Soweto) derby games and Nedbank Cup games," the source confirmed.
Former Free State Stars coach Luc Eymael is also one of the coaches recommended to Usuthu.
