Just last week AmaZulu FC had announced that they will release 11 players from their squad and at the same time advertised two new positions.
Now, sources close to Usuthu have told the Siya crew that the club has supposedly already identified a former South African Football Association (SAFA) official to take up one of those positions.
The Siya source indicated that Luyanda Papu is potentially earmarked for one of those vacancies advertised by the club.

"It remains to be seen if they'll take him as an AmaZulu Director of Football or a Team Manager Position," said the Siya source.
"Luyanda is well known as a seasonal football administrator who has completed SAFA Technical Master Plan SAFA D C Manual Coaching Courses - Vision 2022 Seven Pillars of Success which includes training of coaches in all 52 Regions.
"He has worked with all former SAFA CEO's Dr Robin Petersen, Mr Dennis Mumble and Adv Tebogo Motlanthe on international special projects."
"AmaZulu FC are keen to bring him on board, though interviews are to take place in due course. He has the experience to help a club like AmaZulu, but for now they will wait to see the other candidates and then make a decision as to which position they will offer him."But AmaZulu are looking forward to having him on board," the source said.
When called for comment, Papu didn't confirm whether AmaZulu are interested in his services, but he indicated how keen he is to work with the Durban team.
"It's high time to go back to work with a club. And mainly, to go to a club which has vision and to join forces to make a difference," Papu said.
