Having appointed Romain Folz in October last year on a short-term deal as their head coach to replace Brandon Truter, the Durban-based club has extended the French-Moroccan coach's contract.

Folz has led Usuthu to the Last 16 of the Nedbank Cup and is being lauded for improving the team's organisation in their push for a respectable finish in the DStv Premiership.
Earlier in the season, the tactician led the KwaZulu-Natal giants to the final of the MTN8 and has now been rewarded for his good work.

"The coach is getting a new deal at AmaZulu. It's something that has been discussed and it's a deal to run until 2026. The club id very happy with the coach," confirmed the source.
Fohloza, as Folz is fondly known, will be leading Usuthu in their next fixture this Saturday at Durban's Moses Mabhida Stadium against TS Galaxy and aiming for positive results.
