Following Wednesday's night final round fixtures of the 2015 CAF African Cup of Nations qualifiers, here are the 16 African nations that will participate in next year's finals which commences on January 17 in Equatorial Guinea.

In Group A; South Africa finished top of the group on 12 points following a 2-2 draw with Nigeria in Uyo. Congo Brazzaville booked their berth with a 1-0 victory over Sudan, meaning that current African Champions, the Super Eagles will not be able to defend their title as they have failed to qualify.
In Group B; Top-ranked continental powerhouses, Algeria completed the qualifiers at the summit of the group on 15 points despite losing 2-0 to Mali in their final qualifier. Mali is the second nation in Group B to qualify following their 2-0 victory over Algeria.
Group C finished with Gabon leading the pack with 12 points following their impressive 4-2 rout over Lesotho in Libreville, whilst Burkina Faso joined Gabon on the road to AFCON as the second team in Group B after their 1-1 draw with Angola.
In Group D, Cameroon emerged from the group with 14 points following a goalless draw with neighbours Ivory Coast in Abidjan, whilst the Elephants rounded the group as the second team to qualify with 10 points.
Group E: Ghana topped the standings with 11 points after six matches and they are joined by Guinea who overcame Uganda 2-0 to finish second on 10 points.
Group F saw the Cape Verde Islands gained entry to the 2015 AFCON despite losing 1-0 to 2012 Champions, Zambia at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium, whilst Chipolopolo booked their place in Equatorial Guinea by finishing on 11 points.
Finally in Group G, Tunisia earned their place to the finals after overcoming fellow North African giants, Egypt 2-1 sending the Pharaohs packing. Tunisia are joined by Senegal who completed the group with 13 points.

The Democratic Republic of Congo finished as third best placed following their 3-1 over Sierra Leone.
Equatorial Guinea complete the 16 nations to qualify by virtue of being the host nation.
