Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers Wrap 29 March 2016

Morocco 2-0 Cape Verde Morocco completed their fourth win from four games in Group F to book their place at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations with a comfortable victory over Cape Verde. The visitors were reduced to 10 men in the 53rd minute, leading to a penalty that was converted by Youssef El Arabi. The same player then completed his brace just past the hour mark. Ethiopia 3-3 Algeria Getaneh Gebede put the hosts in front in the 29th minute but just before the break Islam Slimani equalised. The back and forth continued in the second half. Kebede completed his brace but Aissa Mandi levelled matters again. Dawi Fikadu put Ethopia in front for the third time before another equaliser from Faouzi Ghoullam. Niger 1-2 Senegal Senegal secured the win in the first half thanks to goals from Moussa Konate (pen 22') and Pape Souare (42'). Victorien Adebayor netted a consolation from the spot in the 67th minute. Togo 0-0 Tunisia Neither side could break the deadlock and played out a goalless draw. Angola 0-2 DR Congo Joel Kimwaki opened the scoring on the stroke of half-time and Jonny Bollingi doubled the lead in stoppage time. Gambia 0-0 Mauritania The Group M clash ended goalless as neither side managed the decisive strike. Egypt 1-0 Nigeria Ramadan Sobhy's solitary strike in the 66th minute was enough to secure three points for Egypt. Sudan 1-1 Ivory Coast Max Gradel was on target for the visitors in the 17th minute, but Muhanned Al-Tahir produced the equaliser in the 30th minute.
