Afcon 2015 Starting XI: Ghana v Senegal 19 January 2015
Africa Cup of Nations - Group C   Teams: Ghana v Senegal   Date: 19 January 2015   Venue: Estadio de Mongomo.   Ghana and Senegal will get their Africa Cup of Nations campaign underway when they lock horns in a Group C encounter at the Estadio de Mongomo.   The match is scheduled to get underway at 18h00.   Ghana's captain and top striker, Asamoah Gyan, spent most of Saturday in hospital after he was diagnosed with a mild case of Malaria, but has since been released.   Chicago Fire striker, David Accam, is set to replace Gyan in the starting 11, should forward not recover in time, while Marseille winger Andrew Ayew, could take on the captain's armband.   The Black Stars have won the Afcon on four occasions but have not tasted success in the tournament since 1982.   It remains to be seen if Southampton forward, Saiio Mane, will be fit enough to face the Black Stars, after he picked up an injury on duty with Southampton earlier in the month.   Nonetheless, the Lions of Teranga boast an impressive strike which consist of Stoke City's Mame Biram Diouf, Newcastle United's Papiss Demba and Fenerbahce's Moussa Sow.   Here's how they line up:   Ghana: Brimah, Afful, Rahman,  Mohammed, Mensah,Amartey, Rabiu, Badu, Atsu, A Andre, J Ayew   Senegal: Coundoul, N'Diaye, Mbodji, Sane, Djilobodji, Gueye, Diop, Badji, Kouyate, Diouf, Ndoye
