2015 African Cup of Nations
Group D
Teams: Mali v Cameroon
Date: 20 January 2015
Venue: Estadio De Malabo
We are set for an entertaining clash in Group D of the 2015 African Cup of Nations on Tuesday night as Mali take on Cameroon at the Estadio De Malabo.
The match is set to kick-off at 21h00.
This will be both teams first game in the 2015 Afcon event and both will be eager for a victory, although history favours Cameroon.
The two teams have met in five official matches since 1972 and Mali have never beaten the Indomitable Lions.
Cameroon have won two of the five fixtures with both those victories coming in their last two encounters, the most recent a 3-0 win in Bamako in February 2002.
Out of the five matches the two countries have played, nine goals have been scored with Cameroon registering seven strikes to Mali's two.
Cameroon made their way to the 2015 Afcon tournament after finishing top of their qualifying group with four wins and two draws.
In qualifying the Indomitable Lions showed themselves to be clinical in front of goal with nine strikes, but most impressively only conceded one goal in six games.
Mali, on the other hand, made their way to the 2015 Afcon tournament after finishing second in their qualifying group behind Algeria.
Here is how they line-up.
