Liverpool have reportedly identified a surprise replacement for Mohamed Salah, who is yet to sign a new deal with the club.
The Egyptian star is headed to the final six months of his contract and will be allowed to take to foreign clubs from 1 January 2025.
Salah revealed in November that the Reds did not have an offer for him on the table just, which has come as a surprise as he remains an important for the club with 15 goals and 11 assists in the Premier League this season.
Should the Egypt international decided to leave on a free transfer, the club have lined up a move for a Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane, according to Fichajes.
The former Manchester City star is in the same situation as Salah as his contract with the Bavarians expires at the end of the current season.

The report adds that the Bundesliga giants are yet to make headway on contract negotiations with Sane, which could help the Reds in securing the winger's services on a free transfer.
Meanwhile, former Bayern player Steffan Effenberg says Leroy Sane will have to take a pay cut in order to stay in Munich.
"Among other things, Leroy Sané's contract expires in the summer. Although he sent a clear message after the Leipzig game and said that he would like to stay, he will have to accept a reduction in his salary, Effenberg wrote in his coloumn for Sport1.
"It remains to be seen whether he will accept this, but in any case the talks must now gain momentum so that the club has a certain degree of planning security.
