Former Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo has praised the club's reported interest in an Arsenal player whose contract is coming to an end this season.

The Italian giants made a notable move in June this year, securing the services of former Liverpool player Emre Can after his contract with the Reds expired. Arsenal playmaker Aaron Ramsey finds himself in a similar situation after the Gunners reportedly withdrew their offer of a contract renewal. The Old Lady are one of the European clubs believed to be keen on snapping up the Wales International, and Italy legend Pirlo has given his approval for the midfielder's potential arrival in Turin. "Ramsey is a great purchase," Pirlo told Sky Sport Italia, according to FourFourTwo. "Juventus are preparing another excellent deal. He is a strong player and could do very well."
