With no pre-season and a controversial transfer window that ultimately saw him sign for Galatasaray for the duration of the 2024/25 season, many were sceptical about whether the Lagos native would hit the ground running with the record Turkish champions.
However, the 25-year-old has put any concerns the football world may have had about his recent move to rest, as he has been in top form for Okan Buruk's side.
In the nine matches he has played for the Istanbul-based team, Osimhen has scored eight goals and provided four assists.
This past weekend, against third-place Samsunspor, the 2023 CAF Men's Player of the Year scored a brace, meaning he has either scored or registered an assist in each of his opening six Super Lig matches.
According to Opta Stats, this is the first time a player in the Turkish top flight has managed this feat since the 2014/15 season.
Now, Turkish outlet Milliyet claims that the Yellow-Reds want to go all out for the Super Eagles talisman.
They are trying to lower his rumoured €75 million (R1.4 billion) transfer fee by possibly including either Davinson Sanchez, Baris Alper Yilmaz, or Yunus Akgun.
