The Red Devils' 2-1 defeat to West Ham United saw the end of the Dutchman's time at Old Trafford.
It was the culmination of a poor start to the campaign for the Mancunians, with the 54-year-old only managing to win four of his opening 13 matches.
While he may have only been sacked a few weeks ago, it seems that some clubs are already looking to rope him back into football management. At the moment, the club which seems most determined to acquire his services is Serie A giants AS Roma.
The Giallorossi recently parted ways with Ivan Juric, and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Italians' owners, The Friedkin Group, have been in London trying to gauge Ten Hag's willingness to succeed the Croat.
It is understood that the American owners spoke to the Haaksbergen native, but it remains unclear as to whether the former Ajax Amsterdam boss is keen on taking up the role at the Stadio Olimpico.
The same report claims that, while in the English capital, the Roma chiefs also spoke to former Chelsea head coach Graham Potter.
They are, however, not the only managers in consideration for the job, as the likes of Rudi Garcia and Edin Terzic are also believed to be in the running.

The aforementioned publication has stated that the Friedkins would prefer to hire an Italian manager, and of those, Florent Ghisolfi, Roberto Mancini, Massimiliano Allegri and Vincenzo Montella are possible.
