With Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane coming under some pressure recently, the Frenchman has discussed a coach who could potentially replace him at the Santiago Bernabeu in the future.
The 47-year-old's methods were once again questioned following Real's surprise defeat to newly-promoted LaLiga side Mallorca, but matters calmed down after his side managed to win their two games since.
Rumours about potential Zidane replacements keep on swirling around, though, and The Best FIFA Men's Coach 2017 has now stated his belief that Los Blancos legend Raul Gonzalez will take charge of the club at some point in the future.
"I played alongside him and he was an important player for this great club. I'm sure he'll coach Real Madrid one day," Zidane said when asked about the current Castilla (Real's B team) coach, as quoted by AS.
The French boss also singled out two players who impressed him during Real's 5-0 thrashing of Leganes on Wednesday night.
"I'm happy for both of them because, for Rodrygo, it was his first goal at the Bernabeu. He is 18, you don't have to be older to score here," Zidane explained.
"He has personality, little by little he is getting better in the team, and I'm glad for his goal at the Bernabeu.
"And Luka (Jovic) is happy because he needed that (goal) and, although he does not play much, it's important (to make an impact) when he has minutes replacing Karim (Benzema)."
Zidane won nine trophies during his first stint in charge of Los Blancos, but it remains to be seen whether or not he will add more silverware following his return to the club's dugout.
