Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar was reportedly desperate for a move back to FC Barcelona in the most recent window, but it has now been claimed he spoke to four key figures at another massive European club about a potential transfer.

The Brazilian was the centre of attention in the past window as he sought a transfer back to the Blaugrana, or at least that was how things appeared.
However, Marca has now reported that Neymar initially wanted a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid, and that he even spoke to a few of Los Blancos' first-team stars about potentially moving to the club.
It is believed the 27-year-old only sought a move back to Barca once it was made clear that the 13-time UEFA Champions League winners were not going to sign him.

Neymar was reportedly in regular contact with Sergio Ramos, Luka Modric, Marcelo and Casemiro, all of whom publicly spoke about the possibility of the Brazilian joining Real.
Ramos, in particular, addressed the PSG man's future on a number of occasions when it appeared Los Blancos were in pole position to land his signature.

After Real seemingly realised they could not afford Neymar, he then apparently turned his attention to Barca, who still appear to be favourites to sign him.
