According to Spanish outlet El Desmarque, the 14-time UEFA Champions League winners are yet to make a breakthrough in contract negotiations with the Selecao winger.
This has led to a belief that Real president Florentino Perez could allow the 22-year-old to leave the club to make way for a blockbuster move for Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe.
Vinicius' current deal in Madrid expires in 2024, with the report claiming that Los Blancos could be willing to part ways with the player due to the off-field controversies surrounding him in Spain.
It is believed that Perez would therefore consider selling him should things not improve away from the pitch as well as on the field amid a recent dip in form.
Mbappe, meanwhile, will see his contract in Paris expire at the end of next season, leading to suggestions he could be open to a move to Real in the near future.
It has been reported that PSG will not entertain any offers for the 24-year-old, making it possible that he leaves the club as a free agent n 2024.
