With Kylian Mbappe expected to join Los Blancos ahead of the new season, Rodrygo has been linked with a move elsewhere as some feel his minutes may be reduced with the Frenchman's arrival.
The 23-year-old did not do himself any favours with his latest comments ahead of Saturday's final against Borussia Dortmund.
"Yes, well...," Rodrygo told DAZN presenter Sandra Diaz Arcas when asked if he wanted to stay.
"Anything can happen. I have a contract here, but I don't know.
"The years I've been here have been a pleasure for me.
When the presenter tells the player not to make the club nervous, he replied: "No, no. I've always said I want to be at this club, but let's see..."
The Brazil international has been with Los Blancos since 2019 and has gone on to register 54 goals and 41 assists in 215 appearances.
