A UEFA Champions League winner with Real Madrid has revealed how he was 'insulted' and 'criticised' during his time with Los Blancos.
After rejecting Atletico Madrid for Los Blancos, Theo Hernandez spent two seasons at the Santiago Bernabeu where he won four titles.
However, the Frenchman failed to establish himself among the starters as Zinedine Zidane preferred Dani Carvajal and Marcelo as his first choice full-backs.
Hernandez secured a permanent switch to AC Milan in the last transfer window, but he feels was insulted during his time with the Spanish giants.
"I became known as a bad boy," Hernandez told La Gazzette dello Sport
"I was insulted and criticised a lot at Real Madrid, I did some stupid things but I have matured as a person and I consider myself the playful type, who spends a lot of time at home with my dogs and watching tennis on the telvision."
Hernandez only made a total of 13 appearances for Los Blancos, which included three matches in the club's 2017/2018 Champions League-winning campaign.
