Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham broke an impressive England record held by Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney.
Thomas Tuchel started his reign as Three Lions coach with a 2-0 win over Albania in their first 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
Bellngham made his 41st appearance for the national side on the night and in doing so, broke Rooney's record for most appearances by England player aged 21 or younger.

Bellingham played a role in the second record to fall on the night as got the assist for Myles Lewis-Skelly, who became the youngest player to score for England at 18 years and 176 days, breaking Marcus Rashford's record.
"I am lost for words. This past six months have gone so quickly. I stay in the present and I take every moment as it comes," the young Arsenal defender said, as per Goal.
"[For the goal], all I remember is staying wide and rotating with Marcus Rashford. Jude [Bellingham] loves to stay on the half-turn. It was a great pass from him and the timing was very good. The finish, the keeper was coming at me, and I tried to put it between the legs. I didn't even think I was going to score."
