Paris Saint-Germain's president has admitted to being shocked by Kylian Mbappe's recent actions and has told the Frenchman what he needs to do to remain at the club.

The 24-year-old recently stated his intention to part ways with the Ligue 1 champions when his contract expires in 2024, news the French side's board is believed have reacted furiously to.
It was later claimed that PSG were willing to part ways with Mbappe ahead of the 2023/24 season, with Real Madrid tipped to be a potential next destination for the forward.
The club's president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, confirmed this position following the unveiling of Luis Enrique as the team's new head coach, insisting that he will be sold in the coming weeks if he does not pen a new contract.
"We want him to stay, but he can't leave for free. That was our verbal agreement and he expressed it publicly in an interview. So, it's not debatable," he told Le Parisien.
"I was really shocked to learn that he intended to leave for free. It's very disappointing because Kylian is a fantastic lad, a real gentleman, and to leave for free, by weakening the biggest French club, is not him. When I received this information, I was shocked and disappointed.
"That's why he has to make up his mind next week, or in a fortnight at the most. If he doesn't want to sign a new contract, the door is open. That's how it is for him and for everyone else. No one is bigger than the club, no player, not even me. That's very clear."
Mbappe is reportedly due to receive a significant loyalty bonus later this year as per the apparent agreement in the extension he signed with PSG last year.

Rumours in Spain, meanwhile, suggest that Los Blancos will not be in a position to land the France international's signature in this window after already forking out €103 million (R2 billion) for Jude Bellingham.
