While the 38-year-old was unable to get on the scoresheet in Al Nassr's 2-0 victory over Persepolis, reports suggest the five-time Ballon d'Or winner still came away from the game having set yet another record.

According to Sportskeeda, Ronaldo completed his 1000th football match without losing, becoming the first player in the history of the sport to achieve that special feat.

It is claimed that he has been on the winning side 776 times in his career, while the teams he has represented have drawn 224.
