Inter Miami coach Gerardo Martino has broken his silence on reports that Lionel Messi is set to join Barcelona on loan in January.
Messi returned to action on Saturday evening as Inter lost 1-0 to FC Cincinnati, which officially ended their hopes of making the play-offs.
The Argentine and his Miami teammates have nothing to play for in their final two games, which he will be out of action until February next year.

There are reports claiming that Barcelona have been monitoring Messi's situation with the hope of re-signing the club legend on loan.
"Is he going for fun? Maybe he's going to visit Barcelona," Martino said after the loss to Cincinnati, as per Goal.
"Other than that, I don't know anything else about it."
Martino also opened up the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner's fitness after his return on Saturday night.
"The truth is that I saw him lacking match fitness, even if the injury is fine and he has no problem," Martino said.
"It is logical because in recent times he has played very little and it could happen that he is lacking rhythm.
"We started to have problems due to injuries and the accumulation of matches.
"In the last month, the team went through the worst moment of the year."
