The 25-year-old is expected to part ways with the French giants at the end of the season, having communicated to the club that he will not sign a new deal in Paris.
According to reports in Europe, the France captain is closing in on a free-agent transfer to Los Blancos, although he has been linked with a switch to the Premier League too.
Clubs such as Manchester City and Arsenal have been mentioned as potential destinations for Mbappe, with many having thought he could be interested in replicating what other French players have done in the past in England.
However, when asked recently by a fan if he would consider following in Thierry Henry's footsteps at Arsenal, the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner replied: "There's no way" because "it's too cold there", as per Team Talk.
