Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has addressed the rumours that he will attempt to lure FC Barcelona superstar Neymar to Old Trafford.
Pique Explains Why He Doesn't Like Real
The Brazil talisman has been heavily linked with the Red Devils in recent seasons, and new rumours suggest that United are willing to break the bank for the 25-year-old.
Mourinho, however, has somewhat rubbished the claims, insisting that the Blaugrana will not sell Neymar any time soon.
"I always try to be objective and pragmatic with the clubs and ask the clubs what can be given to me," he told ESPN Brasil.
"Neymar is absurd. A club like Barcelona cannot and will not lose Neymar.
"Although (Lionel) Messi is still a young player with years to go, he is already playing well at 30.
"Neymar will be the great player of Barcelona after Messi. I think it (signing Neymar) is like trying to break into a safe. Impossible."
Messi's Reaction To His FIFA Ban
Since joining Barca in 2013, Neymar has scored 99 goals and assisted 76 strikes in 176 matches.
