With Lionel Messi's arrival in France having boosted Paris Saint-Germain's shirt sales, how much money the club has made since last week has seemingly been revealed.
How Messi Is Impressing PSG Teammates In Training
In what has been dubbed "Messimania" in Paris, supporters of the French giants and the Argentine have flocked to get their hands on any Messi-related apparel.
TyC Sports recently reported that NBA legend Michael Jordan, widely thought of the greatest basketball player of all time, has earned big money from Messi's move to PSG due to Nike and Air Jordan's kit deal with the Ligue 1 giants.
It has been claimed that the famous former Chicago Bulls star's company Jordan, named after him, gets 5% of every PSG shirt sold.
If that is this case, the super-brand has earned about €6 million (R106 million) over the past week, with PSG having reportedly hauled in an incredible €120 million (R2.1 billion) from Messi-related gear sales.
The former Barcelona talisman has not yet made his debut for Mauricio Pochettino's side, although reports suggest he could appear for the club for the first time before the end of this month.
