Luis Suarez is a 'lesser player' for Inter Miami when Lionel Messi is not on the field, according to a former Major League Soccer star.
Messi missed Wednesday's clash against rivals Orlando FC, with the two sides playing to a goalless draw in an Eastern Conference match up.

The Argentine superstar has been the standout performer in the MLS this season, having registered ten goals and nine assists in matches this campaign.
Former LA Galaxy star Sacha Kljestan claims there is a problem in the side when the eight-time Ballon d'Or is absent.
"There's a lot of injuries, and we saw the team just without Messi is a slightly different team," Kljestan told MLS Wrap-Up, as per Goal.
"I think Suarez is still a fantastic player, but Suarez without Messi is also less of a player."
Suarez has been impressive for the Miami outfit this campaign after registering 11 goals and five assists in 13 appearances.
Gerardo Martino's charges will be back in action on Saturday night to take on another Eastern Conference rival in D.C United.
