Cristiano Ronaldo's Teammate Moise Kean Breaks Mario Balotelli Record

Cristiano Ronaldo's Teammate Moise Kean Breaks Mario Balotelli Record

One of Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo's teammates, who was the victim of racial abuse recently, has broken a Serie A record set by Mario Balotelli.

The Bianconeri had to postpone their title celebrations after losing 2-1 to SPAL on Saturday, with Ronaldo and several other first-team regulars seemingly being rested for the second leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final with Ajax Amsterdam this week.

However, Moise Kean had reason to celebrate. Two weeks after he was racially abused by Cagliari fans, the 19-year-old became the youngest player to net in four successive Serie A games, as AS pointed out.

Balotelli previously held the record after netting in three successive Serie A matches back in 2009, but Kean's goal against SPAL took his tally to four consecutive strikes in Italy's top flight.

The youngster scored once in a 1-0 win over Empoli, once at Cagliari, another in a 2-1 win over AC Milan, and Juve's only strike in their 2-1 defeat to SPAL.

Overall, Kean has now scored six goals in just eight Serie A appearances in this campaign.
