Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has slammed striker Anthony Martial for walking around the field during the Red Devils' shock 2-1 loss to Istanbul Basaksehir in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.

The struggling English giants suffered defeat to the Turkish side after a few major defensive mistakes, with Martial's headed effort in the 43rd minute proving to be no more than a consolation goal.
Speaking after the match, Scholes, working as a pundit for BT Sports, criticised the 24-year-old for a lack of effort and movement.
"I'm a big fan of Anthony Martial, but the amount of times I looked up and he was walking," he said.
"He has to realise, as a centre forward, every now and again you have to move if you're going to score a goal.
"You can't just be walking in front of two centre-backs doing nothing.
"When a midfielder player has got time on the ball – I look up, he's walking, (Marcus) Rashford is coming to the ball – it's not his strength.
"Sometimes experienced players, like a (Nemanja) Matic, have to tell them. They almost need coaching through a game."
Martial has scored just twice and assisted a further three strikes in six games across all competitions for United so far this season.
