Manchester United legend Patrice Evra has reportedly revealed details regarding a private chat Paul Pogba has had with the club.
Ahead of their crunch UEFA Champions League tie against RB Leipzig on Tuesday, Pogba's agent Mino Raiola dropped a bombshell regarding the Frenchman's future at Old Trafford.
Raiola was quoted as saying the France star was unhappy at the club and that it was his intention to leave.
The super-agent believes the midfielder should be allowed to go as soon as possible, and even hinted that Juventus were keen on luring the player back to Turin.
Evra, who is a good friend Pogba's, seemingly did not take the news as a surprise, saying that the player had already spoken to the club.
"There was lots of negative talk with what he's been saying during his period with the French national team, the fans didn't appreciate it," he said on a Sky Sports broadcast.
"The position of Paul is really easy. He spoke to the board, he wanted to leave Man United to a certain point, they kept him, so it's difficult to blame him because he's been honest with the board.
"Now he's playing, he needs to respect the shirt, his teammates, the manager, and then he'll have a great chance.
"I can already feel that people just wait for Paul to fail to again criticise him. It's been a problem because they didn't deal with it at the beginning of the season, in truth."
