Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has explained why Paul Pogba was left out of the squad to face West Bromwich Albion, despite playing for France recently.
Pogba was in action for France during the international break and played a key role as the world champions advanced to the UEFA Nations League semi-finals.
However, the Frenchman was not seen in the matchday squad as the Red Devils defeated West Brom 1-0 at Old Trafford on Saturday night.
"Paul's got a knock in the last game and he started feeling it yesterday before the session but he couldn't carry on," Solskjaer told MUTV.
"Hopefully he'll be ok for Tuesday. We still don't know."
United turn their attention to the UEFA Champions League, with the side looking to return to winning way against Istanbul Basaksehir on home soil.
