"Manchester United defender Brandon Williams will spend the 2023/24 season on loan with Championship side Ipswich Town," an official statement from the Red Devils read.
"The 22-year-old is set to link up with former United coach Kieran McKenna at Portman Road, with the latter leading the Suffolk side to automatic promotion from League One last season and starting superbly this time around.
"Brandon made five appearances for the Reds across pre-season this summer and will bring a wealth of Championship experience with him, having spent the 2021/22 campaign on loan with Town's local rivals Norwich City.
"Having appeared 51 times for United since his debut back in September 2019, he made his bow in the Premier League under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a month later at Old Trafford, against Liverpool.
"Brandon featured predominantly for the Under-21s during the majority of our 2022/23 campaign, and captained the side on many occasion in Premier League 2.
"Making four appearances in total, he also featured in our EFL Cup fourth-round tie with Burnley at the Theatre of Dreams as a late substitute last season.
"He scored his first and only senior goal for the club, thus far, in our 3–3 draw with Sheffield United at Bramall Lane in the Premier League back in November 2019.
