Manchester United's latest decision on Erik ten Hag's future has seemingly been revealed following a six-hour board meeting.

The Dutchman appears to have dodged the axe at Manchester United following a lengthy board meeting, according to The Times' Paul Hirst.
The Red Devils refrained from making any official announcements after the discussions, which took place at INEOS' offices in London on Tuesday.
In addition, Ten Hag has not been informed that his job is under immediate threat.
With the Premier League set to resume later this month, the Dutch manager will be given another opportunity to turn things around after a dismal start to the campaign.
United have struggled significantly, managing only eight points before the October international break to mark their worst opening to a league season in 35 years.
The team has only found the back of the net five times in their first seven 2024/25 EPL matches, placing them second to last in the league for this statistic, ahead of only 19th-placed Southampton.
Compounding the pressure, Ten Hag's side is also winless in the UEFA Europa League so far this season, with disappointing draws against FC Twente and FC Porto.

As the pressure mounts, Ten Hag's squad will face Brentford after the international break on 19 October, followed by a challenging trip to Turkey to take on Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce in the Europa League.
