It is no surprise that Manchester City's Pep Guardiola pulls in more money per year than his peers, but did you know his annual salary is more than double what Mikel Arteta is paid at Arsenal?
According to Football Fancast, the three-time UEFA Champions League winner earns a staggering £20 million (R456.9 million) every 12 months in Manchester, making him the highest-paid manager in the league by a significant margin.
Arteta, meanwhile, is said to be on an annual wage of £9 million (R205.6 million) at the Gunners, with former Arsenal tactician Unai Emery, who has impressed since being appointed at Aston Villa in 2022, ranking third in the salary rankings.
The 52-year-old is reportedly being paid £8 million (R182.7 million) a year at the Villans, which is more than what under-pressure Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag earns and Arne Slot's salary at Liverpool.
