According to Manchester Evening News, the Dutchman is already planning for a busy end-of-season transfer window ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.
The former Ajax Amsterdam tactician is expected to target some high-profile players to bolster his squad, with the general consensus being that he is well ahead of schedule in improving the standard at United.
After 21 matches, the Red Devils are currently third in the Premier League, just three points behind cross-town rivals Manchester City and eight points behind leaders Arsenal.
In terms of preparing for the coming season, Ten Hag is said to be willing to let French striker Anthony Martial leave the club, with the player having missed 20 out of the 34 games United have played this term so far.
While he impressed the Dutchman as United played friendly games ahead of the campaign, it appears Ten Hag is running out of patience and could be seeking to replace him with Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane or Napoli forward Victor Osimhen.
Furthermore, captain Harry Maguire has reportedly been made surplus to requirements after battling to play himself into the manager's plans, while Alex Telles, who is on loan at Sevilla, is another player likely to be sold.
