African superstar Samuel Eto'o, who almost left FC Barcelona as soon as Pep Guardiola was appointed manager, has now reportedly revealed how he truly feels about his former boss.

The ex-Cameroon international spent a single season under the Spanish tactician, who was given the Catalan club job ahead of the 2008/09 campaign. Eto'o was set to follow Ronaldinho and Deco out the door in that window, but ended up staying at the Blaugrana for one more campaign.
That decision from Eto'o paid off as he won an incredible and historic treble that season, during which he scored 36 goals in 56 matches under Guardiola.
Having criticised his former manager on a number of occasions previously, Eto'o has now admitted that while he appreciates Guardiola's managerial skills, he does not necessarily like his personality.

"I love him as a coach, but not as a person," he said, according to Marca.
"I learned to play football with him. He interprets things better than anyone.
"He's the best, but, of course, he loses matches."

Eto'o joined Jose Mourinho at Inter Milan a year later, and went on to win a second successive treble.
