FC Barcelona have reportedly sent a warning to one of their stars that they will terminate his contract should he not find a new club.

The Catalan giants are still trying to reduce their wage bill by offloading players before the transfer window closes.
Defender Samuel Umtiti is said to be one of the players the Catalan outfit want to offload, but the centre-back does not look like leaving the Camp Nou any time soon.
Reports in Spain suggest that the 27-year-old has been linked with a return to Ligue 1, while he also turned down a move to Portuguese Primeira Liga outfit Benfica.
However, SPORT has now reported that Barcelona have warned the player they will terminate his contract unless he finds a new team before the transfer window slams shut.
Blaugrana president Joan Laporta recently revealed the severity of the club's financial issues and their wage bill.
"Our salaries represent 103% of the club's total income. That's 20-25% more than our competitors," he said, as per talkSPORT.
"The first thing we had to do when we arrived was to ask for a loan of €80 million because otherwise, we could not pay the salaries. The previous regime was full of lies."
