Spanish giants Real Madrid have finally unveiled new signing David Alaba, who joins them ahead of the 2021/22 season after winning 27 trophies at Bayern Munich.

The 13-time UEFA Champions League winners welcomed the Austria international to Spain's top division today as they officially presented him as a Real player, almost two months after his signing was announced by the club.

Bayern confirmed earlier this year that the 29-year-old would be running his contract down after he made it clear to the Bavarians he was not going to accept a new contract offer in Germany.
After impressing at youth level in Austria, Alaba joined the German giants' U19 team in 2008, before going on to make 431 appearances and win a remarkable 27 trophies with the senior team.

The defender is still the only player Real have signed ahead of the coming campaign, with manager Carlo Ancelotti likely to use him in central defence following the departure of Sergio Ramos, whose old shirt number he has taken.
