The Brazilian was heavily linked with a departure after returning from Bayern Munich, but it seems he will be staying after being handed the No.14 jersey.
The No.14 was made famous by Dutch legend and former Barcelona coach Johan Cruyff, while Thierry Henry and Javier Mascherano also wore their number during their time at Camp Nou.

"The number has a long history at the Club and is associated with the historic figure of Johan Cruyff as well as the likes of Thierry Henry and Javier Mascherano," the club said on their website
While Coutinho looks to be staying, it seems Jean-Clair Todibo and Rafinha could be on their way out after not being given numbers.
Todibo has been linked with a loan move to Premier League side Everton while Rafinha has been linked with Celta Vigo and Leeds United.
