The Netherlands international joined the Catalan giants on a free transfer after his contract with Ligue 1 outfit Olympique Lyon came to an end last month.
The Dutch winger now reunites with Ronald Koeman who he played under with the national side last year.
The 27-year-old officially put pen-to-paper on his contract at the Camp Nou on Thursday evening before he made his way on to the pitch.
