PSG Sign Barca Target
French giants Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed the signing of Hatem Ben Arfa. The attacking midfielder, who joined the club on a free transfer, was also linked with FC Barcelona, but signed a two-year deal with Les Parisiens.
African Star Completes Liverpool Switch
Cameroon international Joel Matip completed his free transfer from Schalke to Liverpool. The 24-year-old's move was announced a while ago, but could only be completed on Friday after his current deal expired on 30 June.
Chelsea Reveal First Departures
Chelsea have announced that they will not extend the loan deals of Radamel Falcao and Alexandre Pato. While Falcao will return to AS Monaco, Pato will go back to Corinthians in Brazil. In addition, back-up keeper Marco Amelia has also been released.
