Godin Snubbed Man City Offer

Atletico Madrid defender Diego Godin has reportedly rejected a lucrative offer from Manchester City. The Premier League side were prepared to meet the player's €40 million buyout clause, but Godin will now likely sign a new contract with the Rojiblancos.

Ashley Young has signed a contract extension at Manchester United, committing his future to the club until 2018. Meanwhile, Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah has joined Roma on loan, with an option to make the deal permanent next year.
