Manager Louis van Gaal is reportedly targeting the Dutchman, who could be open to a Bayern exit after the arrival and impressive performances of new star Douglas Costa.
On Monday, the Red Devils confirmed the departures of Javier Hernandez, who joined Bayer Leverkusen, and Adnan Januzaj, who signed for Borussia Dortmund on a season-long loan.
Van Gaal is now believed to be keen on bolstering his attack and, according to Fichajes, Robben is his next target.
The Dutch boss was reportedly interested in luring Robben to Old Trafford last season, but the winger declined the offer.
United were also interested in Robben's Bayern teammate Thomas Muller, but the German club have indicated the forward is not for sale.
