Recent specuation has it that Mourinho will be taking charge of the English giants in the next campaign, and according to the Daily Mail, he has already made his transfer plans clear.
The manager has reportedly told executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward they should get rid of Juan Mata and Marouane Fellaini.
Mourinho fell out with Mata at Chelsea after labelling him as a "luxury player" and claiming that the Spaniard lacked the pace and power to make his first team at Stamford Bridge, despite the playmaker being named as the Blues' Player of the Year for the two years prior to his exit.
Mata joined the Red Devils in 2014, and eventually hit back at Mourinho, saying that "if a luxury player is a player who scores and assists and has good stats, then I'm happy to be a luxury player".
10 Stars Who Snubbed Real Madrid
Although the Portuguese manager and Fellaini have never worked together, the Belgian does not appear to be a typical "Mourinho player", with the coach seemingly preferring more technical players.
