After a torrid start to the Blues' 2015/16 campaign, Mourinho will reportedly look to the transfer window in January with a view to changing his team's fortunes.
According to Shoot, the Portuguese boss is keeping a watchful eye on Atletico Madrid talisman Antoine Griezmann, who has been in great form this season.
The 24-year-old is reportedly valued at £25 million by his club, although Chelsea may have to spend more if they are to lure him from Atletico once the window opens next month.
The Blues have had trouble scoring this season, with their main striker, Diego Costa, only contributing with four goals in 18 matches in all competitions.
Griezmann has scored 11 times in 19 games for Diego Simeone's side this campaign, and has also assisted a further four strikes.
