The Gunners were rumoured to be closing in on a deal for Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy two weeks ago, but since the player extended his stay at the Foxes, Arsene Wenger's attention has been focused elsewhere.
According to The Sun, Arsenal are reportedly now eyeing 19-year-old Brazilian forward Gabriel Barbosa, whose reputation has been growing beyond his club Santos' borders.
Many teams, including Fiorentina, FC Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, have been monitoring the young talent's situation, with his club reportedly willing to let him go.
Barbosa is said to be delighted with Arsenal's interest while he decides which club it would be best to continue his development at.
