Portuguese side Boavista have confirmed the signing of Rivaldinho, the son of Brazil legend Rivaldo.

The son of the former FC Barcelona star joined the Portuguese Primeira Liga side on a three-year deal from Brazilian club Mogi Mirim.
The 20-year-old, who will wear the No. 99 shirt for his new team, leaves the club for which his famous father is president.
"Rivaldinho is a striker who possesses good movement and he's a good finisher," a Boavista statement read.
"Apart from his own qualities, which promises him a great future, he's also the son of Ballon d'Or winner Rivaldo, who needs no introduction."
Rivaldinho will reportedly take part in his first training session on Tuesday and be officially presented in the afternoon with his famous father in attendance.

Rivaldinho and Rivaldo recently wrote the headlines after both father and son scored for Mogi Mirim in the same game.
