The 27-year-old striker had been linked with a move to the Gunners during the off-season. However, he ended up staying at Los Blancos and insisted talks of him leaving was just gossip.
"There was nothing to the transfer window rumours," he told Marca.
"I'm happy at Real Madrid and to be at the best club in the world.
"I'll carry on working hard so as to ensure that I'm happy here."
The forward insisted he is focused on Real and wants to shake off his recent injury worries.
"I've been sidelined for four months," he added.
"I've not played all that much for Real Madrid and now I'm working hard to gradually get back to my best."
Benzema scored 22 goals and assisted a further 15 strikes in 46 appearances for Real last season.
